Just finished the finale today.

I’d actually written a whole lot… and then deleted all of it.

Let’s not say any more. Each to their own view, each to their own wisdom; different perspectives, different takeaways.
The world’s quarrels never cease, love and hate never pause, and no one can judge right and wrong, gain and loss.
Hatred only breeds more curses; it takes universal love to save all living beings.
Those who reach the summit will in the end vanish beyond the mortal world.
Build a hut on Buguishan — or just roam the four seas.

That ending where the four Great Tang rangers set off as a party was good — a new day begins again!
Watching it, I suddenly thought of how many heroes fell along the way (the waves wash away all heroes)…
The show tells us at the end: the true great hero is the one who takes peace under heaven as the highest ideal.
Oh come on — if that’s all it takes, wouldn’t the world’s great heroes work themselves to death!
The real great hero is every person themselves; only the innate universal love of humanity can truly bring peace to the world. Peace under heaven isn’t up to a handful of people — it depends on the awakening of all humanity.

Attaching the theme song:

Theme song “True Love” lyrics: For you I’d cross ten thousand miles of mountains and rivers, roaming to the ends of the earth. Through ten thousand zhang of wind and rain I’d stay by your side, making home wherever I go. Ten thousand pursuits, all for a love from a dream. Ten thousand times crying, crying, only waiting for you to open your mouth and answer, answer. Through ten thousand hardships we walked through autumn, winter, spring and summer. For ten thousand reasons I’d keep you in my heart for life. Ten thousand ways to say it, no need for vows of sea and mountain. Ten thousand times moved, moved, only for that one word in your heart.
